We have one goal here at Discover Pierz and that is to show you the best things to do in the Pierz Area, personally experience them and share them with others looking to do the same. Small town fun is often hidden among the locals, but we are here to show visitors, new community members, and long time Pierzites all the amazing things this area has to offer.
Golfing in Pierz
Golfing is a big deal for Pierz people, so much so that they decided to add an additional 18 holes projected to be finished by 2026. The Historic Pierz Golf Course offers a serene and picture perfect course to enjoy all summer long.
Camping in Pierz
Camping in Pierz is the cats meow. You’ll find Rv’s, Tents and even a Yurt or two set up along the Skunk River campsites. Both campgrounds are conveniently located close to Pierz for easy access to local activities and the Soo Line ATV Trail.
Playing in Pierz
Weekly events and activities are waiting for you, but don’t miss out on canoeing and tubing down the Skunk River, local lake fun at Pierz Fish Lake, ice cream cones from the drive inn locally roasted coffee, and local shopping.
Our Visitors Love This Place!
Some friends said they stay in Pierz every year. We didn’t know where it was but decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed! We ended up being in Pierz for bologna days, a car show and live music. We even played a round of golf, and we aren’t even golfers! We had so much fun with the locals and can’t wait to return again! Friendly, fun and small enough to enjoy it all.

First we would just stop at Thielen Meats in Pierz. Then we discovered the Pierz Campground and began staying during the summer. We have now stayed every July for the past 5 years. We enjoy the local events and the community of people who live in Pierz. It’s nice that Pierz is a central location to many area events and things to do.

The first Thursday of the summer months roll around and we are excited to gather on Main Street of Pierz for the ever impressive car shows!
'Hidden Gem' Golf Course
Ask anyone from the area and they will tell you that the Pierz Golf Course is the area's most prized hidden gem! Back 9 opening July 10, 2025!
