Finding the perfect fall to-do list can be a daunting task, so we did the work for you! Here are some of our favorite events and activities to make the most of the season around the central Minnesota town of Pierz.
Maus Family Festival – This fully functioning farm sets itself up with all the fundamentals for fall family fun including a hay bale maze, corn maze, corn pit, pumpkin bowling, gravity box basketball and so many more activities for kids to enjoy. Don’t miss out on all the animals to pet as well including a pot-belly pig! It’s open every weekend from September 21-October 27th.
Platte River Farm and Flowers – Platte River Farm and Flowers – a nursery and gardening store just beyond Harding – is a hidden gem offering an array of fresh vegetables, from garlic to artichokes, vibrant bouquets of fresh flowers, farm-fresh eggs, and a variety of unique nursery plants. Pumpkin Succulent Class – take time to learn how to craft your own pumpkin succulent arrangement. Sign up for a class at Rudy’s Roadhouse in Genola on Thursday, October 3rd. Brittany Hanneken, owner of The Pink and White Greenhouse, will guide you in crafting a unique fall centerpiece that’s sure to impress. Don’t miss out on this fun and festive workshop!
Fall Fest -The Clothesline is kicking off an exciting morning of shopping with Fall Fest where you’ll find special fall sales on seasonal clothing and home décor, door prizes and handcrafted items. The Coffee Haus is just a few steps away, stop in for a delicious dessert and shot of expresso! With your coffee in hand, make sure to visit Pierz Floral for a stunning fall bouquet to bring the season’s beauty home with you. It’s the perfect way to spend a crisp autumn morning in Pierz! Its all taking place Saturday October 12 from 10am to 1pm.
Steak and Wine Dinner Event – There’s no better way to embrace autumn than with a classy steak and wine dinner! On Saturday, October 5th, the Pierz Ballroom will host a special fundraising event for Holy Trinity Catholic School. Join us for an elegant evening featuring a delicious steak dinner, fine wine, and a live auction. Don’t miss this opportunity to support a great cause while enjoying a perfect fall night!
