Genola Days Fall Fest

Back to the Good Old Days! Come and enjoy the 3rd Annual Genola Days Fall Fest in Genola, Minnesota on September 26, 2026 with a parade beginning at 12pm and live music from 1pm-10pm with fireworks at 9pm! All day packed with fun! Parade, games, food, music, and fireworks!

Back in the day, Genola was a train station stop along the Soo Line Railroad platted in 1908, and was call New Pierz, later changed to Grainville, then to Genola (named of after the town of Genola in Italy).  town in . There was a bank, a post office and a saloon. A few saloons still remain, the very successful grain elevator remains, but many business have come and gone (like Gruber’s Market and Storkamp Garage). The Soo Line railroad is no longer in service but is a thriving ATV trail.  The Fall Fest celebration commemorates the long standing history of the tiny town of Genola (pronounced JEN-ola).
